burned out?

We always hear of this quote either in similar fashion or that word totally. "Thirsty? Drink 100 plus!" or "Burned out and feeling stressed? Take a nap!"

Why do we feel stressed out and burned out? For those serving out in the youth or any ministry in the church, they can tell you stories of what it's like to feel burned out and stressed out. It feels empty inside of them. They feel depressed and pessimistic of projects that will be taken up. They will always ask the question "Why do it?" This is because they have seen their fair share of troubles and are not happy with the results they achieved. Thus, they release it all out in splashes of cold water on people willing to take it up and do it.

For those serving and already feeling so, praise the Lord. It means that you have finally know that you can't do everything by yourself. It's a constant reminder to go back to the Father for help and guidance. Do you know that a prayer can be such a powerful tool in helping us solve our problems when we most need a solution? Don't ever underestimate the power of prayer. From a personal experience, just one prayer help shifted all unbalance into order again.

For those not into serving yet and new to this burned out feeling, praise the Lord too that you are reading this. Though i won't give you tips to avoid or overcome it, i can tell you that no one works alone. The church is a body of believers, each playing their respective roles. SO no one works alone. The Scriptures also say that how can the eye say to the ear i don't need you? So there you go, word from the Lord prompts us to work together. Let us know your frustrations and we can solve it together.

this post is short but i hope it will help the rest of us to constantly ask for the Lord's guidance and our fellow believers as well. A good day and God bless!
