For those who followed football recently you must have heard about an English football club Manchester City interested to sign Kaka from AC Milan FC. If Kaka agrees to join this football club he will become one of the world most richest footballer. But he did not.
In an interview with him he said that for him to make this big decision he has spent a lot of time praying. Kaka happened to be a very devoted Christian. After reading his interview I personally find this short sentence has really summed up the way of a devoted Christian. He said, "I'm currently celebrating this decision at home with a couple of friends. I'm a religious person and I believe the path God decides for us is not always the most logical one.
This has made the bible verse "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these thing will be added unto you" comes alive! It has also suggested to us a question and a point; The question is - are we willing to submit to God in making big and important decision? The point is - Although the decision may sound and looked illogical but we can be rest assured God knows and wants the best for His children.
May you be challenged and be motivated knowing that God is Almighty!

separated by a line
As youths of our own church and a youngster having the time of their lives with outings and gatherings with games and laughter, sitting down quietly just don't come easily don't they? Honestly speaking, how many of us can boldly say, i'm always sure that there will always be a short period of time where we will sit down and do our daily devotion?
Not to belittle those who can do it and have been doing it all this while. Good for them. However, i'm referring to the youths in general. Forgiveness given, all of us are busy with our lives and our own activities. It's not wrong to miss one or two sometimes. The problem is not that you're not doing your devotion but can you bring yourself back to doing it?
AS some people always say that a habit can only be done when someone does something again and again without fail. It may sound easy but it's not as easy as you think. Countless people have failed in understanding their own failures and wish to ignore that. Not a good sign.
However! All is not lost. With just a small thought of repentance, you can come back again to the fold and continue doing it as before. Men are weak therefore, we need God's intervention and help to ensure we live to His commands.
So youths, me included, let us persevere knowing fully well that we are backed up by a divine being that wishes to see us face to face. Let us all take one single step forward and the journey in our daily walk with the Lord will start! So what are you waiting for? Pray and repent and do it!
God bless all of us!
